Town Station

The proposal unlocks a narrow strip of land in central Sutton Coldfield to provide 24 homes arranged across six apartment bocks. The scheme also includes the refurbishment of an existing derelict historic building to provide office space.

We created a design that would maximise the viability of the site, whilst ensuring the proposal is in-keeping with the scale of the surrounding residential setting. Internally, the apartments have adaptable open-plan spaces with ample light. Each apartment block’s layout has been composed to respond to site constraints, with buildings orientated to block noise from a neighbouring railway line and maximise internal daylight.
